How do we mark the death of a loved one? How do you want people to mark your own death? Funerals are a constant in life, but how often do we consider what exactly it is that's happening in a funeral service? In this evening workshop, Laura de Jong will provide some historical and theological musings around the nature of funerals, memorials, and celebrations of life. We'll spend time thinking about and planning our own funeral services, leaving participants with tools and templates so they can plan this final service with care and intention.
