It's that time of year again, the time for the Ride for Refuge! As with many things, this year will be different. On Saturday October 3, we won't start by gathering in person with a big group from our Hamilton community. In fact, this year, we are encouraged to do any activity we like for the charities close to our hearts! Whether you're biking, walking, knitting, planting, building lego, we will all be pulling in the same direction for organizations who are transforming our world in the shape of healing & hope for those who have been displaced, exploited, persecuted and abused.

This year we ride (colour/play/pogo) again for Welcome Inn Community Centre, our friends in the North End of Hamilton who are supporting neighbours in "Living Well Together". Welcome Inn Community Centre works to alleviate poverty, loneliness and marginalization in the north end of Hamilton—things that our community members face on a daily basis—by offering support, promoting wellness and providing capacity-building opportunities. It's a dynamic community centre that dares to imagine that there is a different and more vibrant path forward for ALL members of the community.
